Fundraising is a natural part of Rotary, with Rotary Clubs around the world constantly working to raise funds to operate programs, services and provide assistance to people on the local, state, national and international level.

Rotary West sponsors or participates in a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year.  Here is a sample of our ongoing projects.

Bele Chere

Each year, during the last weekend of July Asheville turns into the largest street party in the Southeast as Bele Chere takes over downtown.  And each year Rotary West is on hand to help festival officials sell wrist bands that aid in managing the beer drinking party goers. 

It also gives the Club a chance to ask for donations and when the beer gets flowing, so do the donations!  Hey, whatever works!
